The One Way Door (2017)
A documentary exploring the relationship between the two border regions of San Diego and Tijuana. In this documentary, the viewer is allowed to reflect on the public culture of doors, how our perception of doors exists and juxtaposes this notion with the border wall, a seemingly one way door. From the bottom up urbanization of Tijuana with it’s garage doors and other recycled housing material to the top down infrastructure of San Diego, the destinies of these two cities are intertwined and the success of each hinges on the other.
